Amy Zitur, MOT, OTR/L

With a Masters of Occupational Therapy from the University of North Dakota, my passion for helping children and families with learning challenges comes from my initial work as a pediatric occupational therapist. I have specialized training in primitive reflex integration techniques, various sensory processing strategies, motor and praxis skill development, and functional vision deficits impacting academic success. I pride myself on my ability to skillfully analyze and evaluate areas of development, movement, posture, and sensory processing related to educational difficulties.

In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my husband and 1-year-old golden retriever, Jax, as well as traveling the world, reading, hiking and biking, and being outdoors.

I grew up in Florida and graduated with a B.A. in communication disorders from the University of South Florida and I earned my Master of Science in Speech Language Pathology from Nova Southeastern University. I am nationally certified by the American Speech Language Hearing Association (ASHA). I have worked with a broad range of populations but my true passion is working with children.  I have extensive experience in speech/language acquisition and delays, feeding difficulties, learning challenges and school-based services.

As a mother of 4, I enjoy spending time with my active family, boating, attending cultural events, cooking, hosting foreign exchange students and homeschooling my youngest daughter.
